Prairie Wood Chocolate Moose

Moose is a dark caramel with chocolate points.  He made the long airplane ride from New Mexico in a crate with Truffle.  He is built solid like a rock!  He is going to hopefully bring the wonderful traits from his pedigree to my herd. Not to forget hopefully some chocolate colors too.   I can't wait to see this baby all grown up.

Summer 2007-  I plan to breed Opal to Moose this fall.  He is a very stout young man and hopefully he will pass on his width to his kids.  He isn't my favorite buck because he isn't friendly but I have came to the conclusion that he is the way he is, Oh well.

Ok I drug this boy to the show, I mean he refused to walk very well.  But the good news out of it is that he has wonderful conformation which the judge could see and he took Reserve Champion Sr Buck on August 23, 2007.

Mac is a dark caramel.  I was in need of a new buck and began my search here in Alaska first.  I met a wonderful pygmy breeder at our state fair and got on her list for a buckling.  This spring Mac arrived with the color and everything else I wanted in a buck.   I couldn't have asked for a better package, I made a wonderful friend and got a great buckling too!
Thanks Robyn!!!!

Mac is the proud Daddy of 4 little kids born in May 2007.

Summer 2007- Mac is a dream to handle and I love him to pieces.  He has turned into a carbon copy of his daddy just in caramel, very upright on his hooves and solid muscle.  As he matures he can only get better!!!!!
